The 2012 Conference Committee is seeking proposals that will be informative and relevant; informed by theory, research and practice; encourage opportunities for learner engagement; and/or demonstrate application of technology to participants. Each workshop will be 50 minutes in length. All proposals must be submitted by Midnight on January 26, 2012.  

Proposals should be submitted using this form. All proposals should include the following:
--Answer the following questions in 140 characters or fewer:
    --What will you do during your session?
    --How will you do it? 
    --What tools/skills/understanding will participants be able to use immediately in their practice?
    --What is the next step for participants who want to do more with their learning?
--A longer description of your session
--Biographical Information about the presenter(s), including:
    --Name
    --Affiliation(s)
    --A bio of 140 characters or fewer
    --Email address
    --Twitter name (if applicable)
    --Website
--Conference Strand:
    --ELA and the Humanities
    --STEM
    --Tech to make your work easier (assistive technology, professional development, classroom management, etc.)
--User skill level for participants
